Now that things have settled down a little

Key words there are 'a little'... Ha. Life with a newborn. It's... Interesting. Good times though. Finally got into a little bit of a rhythm, figuring things out on the fly. We went and got rid of my pickup (sad day...) for something more efficient and practical for hauling a little one around for Kelli. My old VW wasn't cutting it for her, no A/C and it's just kinda... picky... for her to be driving around with Liam. So we ditched it for a newer car for her with all the amenities and I took the VW back for my own use. Truck was costing too much to drive also, gas prices made sure of that.

All ready to go home!

Buckled in for saftey!
Yay swing!
Finally home

Quick Update... from the hospital...

Well, Thursday afternoon Kelli's doc made the call to induce her labor. The Dr. was concerned that Kelli was on the verge of going pre-eclamptic after several visits of Kelli having high blood pressure so she made the call to induce. They induced at 1:20 pm. After just shy of 36 hours of labor we met our son, Liam at 12:56am on April 9. He was distressed from the delivery and was not breathing on his own so they whisked Liam and I off to the NICU while the Dr (the third one to come on call since they induced...) finished up with Kelli. They put him on IV fluids, C-Pap machine to help with breathing and a stomach tube for feeding and venting air from his stomach. As of 10am, he is breathing on his own just fine, they took him off the C-pap and they are observing, NICU nurses said he is angry but fine. Kelli is recovering Liam is recovering and so am I. Liam is 7lb 11.1oz and 21 3/4". Pics to come.
